Robin Hood

A hat with a feather, longbow and jerkin, however not a gamekeeper

The legend of the most famous folk hero of all times, presented for the first time on the stage of the Moravian Theatre Olomouc. England at the turn of the 12th and 13th century, during the reign of King Richard the Lion Heart, was not exactly a friendly place to live. Even the nobleman Robin of Locksley figured that out, when on the return from Third Crusade, Prince John, with help of Sherriff of Nottingham, deprived him of all his possessions. Robin left for Sherwood, where together with Little John and other refugees and outlaws started to rob wealthy noblemen and give away the stolen gold to the poor. The outlaws made Robin their leader and started to call him Robin Hood… a mythical story came to life in a number of literary, film and theatre adaptations. In our case, Roman Vencl and Michaela Doleželová tell us the story and so you can look forward to such great humour that even English history would not bare.
